About Palav Bandhanis
The name Palav is now synonymous with Bandhani.
Based in Central Mumbai, our boutique stocks exclusive Bandhani sarees, chaniya cholis, dress materials and borders with contemporary and traditional Bandhani motifs and designs.
Our main aim is to keep this four century-old tradition of Kutch alive and to serve as its ambassadors by bringing our customers a combination of traditional designs, vibrant colors and exquisite fabrics. It is our endeavor to share the tradition of our beloved homeland Kutch, its rich colors, soft beauty, art and craft.
Our Bandhni sarees, Gharcholas, Chaniya Cholis, dress materials and other products are created by the master craftsmen of Kutch who use the traditional "bandhani" or "tie and dye" method discovered by their ancestors.
The fabrics used for all our Bandhani products are intricately woven by our master weavers using their traditional looms, and the entire "bandhani" or "Tie and dye" process is performed solely by the craftsmen. And so, each and every Bandhani product you find at our boutique and online store is exclusive.
Our collection includes a wide range of contemporary and traditional Bandhani Sarees, Gharcholas, Chaniya Cholis, Dress Materials and Gharchola borders. All our products are available in fabrics of the finest quality and in a palette of colors and are designed to combine tradition with style and grace.
We can also customize our Bandhani Dress Materials, Odhnis and Sarees as per your special requirements. Let us know if there’s any specific motif you or any particular combination of colors that you prefer. Our master craftsmen will be happy to create them, especially for you.
We also specialize in creating unique Bandhani trousseaus with special bridal motifs, colors and fabrics, and a special range of Odhnis, Chaniya Cholis, Dress Materials, Real Zari Garcholas and Sarees.
We also have a special collection designed to wear during the Navratris and on other auspicious occasions.
